GMVA Board Members

Robie Avalos Robie Avalos has been a member of the GMVA Board since 2007. She is a title company escrow officer. She has lived in Grogans Mill since November of 2003 and decided to participate as a board member so she might have an active say in what may be accomplished in the upkeep of our village.

Glenn Cox Glenn Cox has been a member of the GMVA Board since 2007. He is a landscape engineer and serves as a Houston firefighter.

Bruce Cunningham Bruce Cunningham has been a member of the GMVA Board since 2000 and and currently serves as president. Bruce has served with the Woodlands Watch, Governance Committee, and attended the Woodlands Academy. He is currently on the RDRC, his church finance committee, member of the Woodlands Cycling Club, and Advisor to the HGAC bike-pedestrian committee. Bruce works as a management consultant and enjoys working out, bicycling, reading, travel, theatre, cooking and wines.

Virginia Dellinger Virginia Dellinger has been on the GMVA Board since 1990 and has lived in Grogan's Mill Village since 1982. She is retired and enjoys duplicate bridge, tennis, and traveling. Virginia is very proud of her two sets of twin grandchildren.

Dana Denton Dana Denton has been a member of the GMVA Board since 1998 and currently serves as its Vice President. Dana has lived in Grogan's Mill Village since 1984 and works for the Marriott in Catering Sales. Dana has served as both President and Treasurer of the GMVA, and enjoys helping to organize the annual "Adopt-A-Family" project (through Interfaith of The Woodlands) for the GMVA, as well as the Village's 4th of July Parade entry.

Joe Giovanniello Joe Giovanniello has been a member of the GMVA Board since 1996 and currently serves as Treasurer. He is also VP for Operations of the South Montgomery County 4th of July Committee. He has lived in Grogan's Mill Village since 1993 and works as an airline engineer for aircraft maintenance. Joe is a member of The Woodlands Car Club and enjoys working for charitable organizations.

Pat Goodpastor Pat Goodpastor has been on the GMVA Board since March 2006, serving as President in 1997 and 1998, and currently serves as Secretary. She has lived in Grogan's Mill Village for 29 years and has raised two children here. Pat served 6 years as a WCA director. She is a 1997 gradualte of Leadership Montgomery Cunty and retired from Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hosital where she was the Assistant Vice President of Patient Services for 21 years.

Donna Gossett Donna Gossett has been a GMVA Board member since 1995 and has served as President and Vice President of the Board. Donna has lived in Grogan's Mill for 13 years and is an Adjunct Instructor of English at Montgomery College.

Mike Hughes Mike Hughes has been a member of the GMVA Board since 2008. He and his wife and two sons have lived in Grogan's Mill Village since 1997. Mike works for JDH Property Management Company managing several home owners associations throughout the City of Houston and surrounding areas. Mike is an active member of the Rotary Club and Boy Scouts.

Sally Johnson Sally Johnson has been a board member since 2007. She has raised her children in Grogan's Mill and they are all off at school now. She has been very active in Scouts and is a tennis player. Sally is the GM representative to the Woodlands Recreation Committee.

 

Jennifer Morton Jennifer Morton was born and raised primarily in the Spring-area. Mrs. Morton is a graduate of the University of Houston. She has been married for six years to her high-school sweetheart and is the mother of twin three-year-old boys. She and her husband bought a home in Sunset Springs in November 2002. Mrs. Morton hopes to meet more people and serve her community by becoming involved in the GMVA.

Franklin Palmer Franklin Palmer has been a member of the GMVA Board since February of 2005. He has lived in Grogan's Mill Village since 1995 and is now retired. Franklin enjoys flying and is quite knowledgable about stock market investing.

David "Nick" Ransford Nick Ransford has been a member of the GMVA Board since 2006. He is head of the GMVA shopping center committee and president of the Grogan's Mill Merchant's Association. Nick is a Californian originally from San Diego. He has worked for The Beverage Shoppe since 2004. He loves his job and can usually be found in the store.

Jim Upham Jim Upham has been a member of the GMVA board since 2006. He serves as the head of the GMVA Glen Mill sound wall and is the liaison with the Glen Mill residents. Jim was born and raised in the State of Iowa. Upon graduation from High School, he served in the US Air Force as a Russian Linguist. After his discharge he attended Iowa State University and graduated with a degree in Industrial Administration and Accounting. Jim met his wife, Anne, while at Iowa State. He accepted a position in International Accounting and Finance with Union Carbide Corporation and spent the next several years living and working abroad. Upon their return to the states, Jim joined Anadarko Petroleum and remained there until his retirement in January 2000. He works as an Income Tax Preparer during the Tax Season. Jim and Anne moved to their present home in Glen Mill in August 1980.

Chris Wren Chris Wren is Executive Vice President for LGI Development and a graduate of Stephen F. Austin University.

Jennifer Robinson Jennifer Robinson is the Webmaster of the Grogan's Mill Village Web site. She lived in Grogan's Mill Village for five years with her husband and children. Unfortunately, Jennifer moved away from Grogan's Mill and misses it, but is glad she can still be involved through the Web site.
