The Woodlands Community Flea Market will be held in the Town
Center Garage on October 27th from 7am-10am.
Tickets for booth spaces will go on sale 8:30am - noon, near
Randalls in the Panther Creek Village Center.
Any booth tickets remaining after that date will be available
at the Community Associations Building. Booth prices
are $50 for residents, $75 for non-residents, and $100 for

for Texas is a ten mile road race that will wind through
The Woodlands Saturday, October 13.
This event is being produced by The Community Associations
of The Woodlands and Luke's Locker. There
are many areas where we need your
help. They are: Packet
stuffing (which takes place before the event), Parking Garage,
Packet Pick Up, Chip Distribution, Aid Stations, and Run
Course.

| Creekside
Park Campout
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Bring
your family and campout in the new Robert Fleming Park in
the Village of Creekside Park, Saturday, October 20th to
Sunday, October 21st, 6pm to 9am. Come enjoy S'mores,
crafts, campfire songs, stargazing and a night hike.
Dinner, breakfast and snacks will be provided.
Advanced registration is necessary by calling 281-210-3950.
Fees are $60 per family of 4, $15 for each extra family
member and $100 for a tent and 4 sleeping bags that you
get to keep.

| Major
Road Projects
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Montgomery Country Precinct 3 has started two major projects
in The Woodlands. The first is installing new and replacing
old traffic signal lights at many intersections.
The other is widening Research Forest drive from four lanes
to six lanes, from I-45 to the bridge over Bear Branch.
Both projects are expected to take from nine months to a year.
They will also be addressing a line of sight problem on Lake
Woodlands Drive from Falconwing to Shadowbend. |
| Walk
to School Program
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Children and parents from our neighborhoods will be walking
and biking to school starting at 7:15AM the week of October
1st. Please be alert fro pedestrians and bicyclists
and exercise additional caution as always when driving through
school routes.
