| Electricity
Restored for Most
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As of Thursday, Sept. 25, Entergy Texas reported that
electricity has been restored to The Woodlands/Entergy
service area with the exception of isolated pockets
which Entergy is working on. Entergy's Service Center
on Lake Front Circle in The Woodlands is open weekdays
from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. More information can be found
at www.entergy.com.
Entergy's telephone number is 1.800.968.8243.
For more information about areas within CenterPoint
Energy, go to www.centerpointenergy.com.
For emergency issues, call CenterPoint Energy's
Customer Service at 713.207.2222.
Please conserve energy when power is restored so as
not to overload the system! |
|
| Trash
and Debris
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Garbage trucks are running their regular schedule
for household waste. Please put household trash out
on your regular service day. Food waste should be
double-bagged in the trash cart.
For storm debris, please separate as follows: tree
limbs, bagged greenwaste and construction material.
Please place these near the street, but NOT on the
street, and NOT in drainage systems. Please stack
all debris separately at the curb-brush, limbs and
logs together, and bagged greenwaste such as pine
needles and leaves together. It is only necessary
to stack. It is not necessary to bundle, as long as
the different types of waste are clearly separated.
For more information, visit http://www.mctx.org/.
Construction debris, such as siding, wet carpet
or fencing material, MUST be stacked separately from
green waste.
Please be patient as debris will be picked up as soon
as possible, but may take several weeks. Large equipment
will make multiple runs throughout the community to
clear the waste, from dawn to dusk, seven days a week.
Please move cars off the roadways to allow the large
equipment to pass down your street.
Absolutely NO BURNING in The Woodlands! DO NOT
dump debris over fences or into the greenbelt or drainage
systems.

| Storm
Repairs
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For storm damage repair, the Development Standards
Committee and the Development Review Committee have
for a period of 90 days, due to the magnitude of expected
applications. Homeowners are still required to submit
an application for major storm damage repairs. RVs
may remain on a homeowner's property not to exceed
45 days. For clarification or more information, call
281-210-3973 weekdays.
