Community Elections will be held February 21, 2009.  In this election, eight new members of the Grogan's Mill Village board will be chosen. We are looking for people who are interested in working with us to run for positions on the Board. All you need to do is apply for the position. The basic requirements are that you be a resident of Grogan's Mill and be willing to attend the monthly board meetings. We ask that if you are filing for the election, please contact any member of the Board to introduce yourself. 

 

As the community transitions from the current form of government to the Township the village associations will become the only organization that will represent Grogan's Mill as a community.  It is important that we know what your problems and concerns are so that let the Township know what is needed.

The 2008 Holiday Lighting Contest winner for a house is the Bryant residence at 123 North Deerfoot in the Glen Mill subdivision.  The winner for a neighborhood is Star Violet off North Millbend. 

Congratulations to both winners and thank you for taking the time to make your homes more festive.  The GMVA has given both the house and the street a prize for being the winners.

What Happened to the Planned McDonald's on Grogan's Mill and South 
Millbend? 

There will not be a McDonald's on the corner.  The owner tells us that McDonald's has backed out of the deal.  The property is up for sale.
